These terms govern your use of pdfsafe.io, operated by Piyanshu Agrawal, trading as PS Labs, a sole proprietorship based in India. By using this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The service

pdfsafe.io provides free PDF tools (merging, splitting, compressing, converting, and similar operations). Every tool runs entirely in your browser — see our Privacy Policyfor details. No signup is required to use the current tools, though PDF to Word’s free tier is limited to 3 conversions per day (see Pricing), tracked by IP address and a first-party cookie.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

• Process files containing illegal content, or content you don’t have the right to process.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or repackage the service in a way that circumvents these terms.
• Attempt to circumvent PDF to Word’s free-tier daily limit (e.g. automated requests designed to evade IP or cookie-based tracking) in a way that degrades the service for other users.

We reserve the right to block access for any use that violates these terms, without advance notice, particularly where it threatens the availability of the service for others.

Your files

You retain all rights to the files you process through this site. We do not claim any ownership over your content. Every tool, including PDF to Word, runs entirely client-side — we never receive a copy of your file at all. See the Privacy Policy for specifics.

Service availability

This service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may add, change, or discontinue individual tools at any time. We make reasonable efforts to keep the site running and your conversions accurate, but we don’t warrant that every output will be error-free — particularly for PDF to Word, where conversion fidelity depends on the structure of your original document, and complex layouts (multi-column text, tables with merged cells, rotated headers) may not convert perfectly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PS Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, including (without limitation) data loss, conversion errors, or service interruptions. Your use of this site is at your own risk, and you’re responsible for keeping your own backup copies of any files you process here.

Premium subscription pricing

Every tool on this site remains free to use, with specific limits on a few of them (see Pricingfor exactly which). We offer an optional paid Premium subscription that removes those limits, billed one of two ways depending on where you’re located:

• India: ₹299/month or ₹1,999/year, billed via Razorpay.
• Everywhere else: $5.00/month or $36.00/year (USD), billed via Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record for these transactions.

Auto-renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the price and frequency you signed up for, at the end of each billing period, and continues renewing until you cancel it.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel at any time from the My Account page while logged in, or by emailing support@pdfsafe.ioif you’d rather we do it for you. Cancelling stops all future renewal charges, but does not end your access immediately — you keep Premium for the rest of the billing period you already paid for (through the end of that month or year), and it reverts to the free tier only once that period ends.

Refund Policy

Subscriptions are non-refundable, with a narrow exception for confirmed billing errors — see our dedicated Refund Policy for the full details.

Termination

If you have an account, you can delete it yourself at any time from the My Account page — this cancels any active subscription first, then permanently deletes your account record, including your email address and subscription status; this cannot be undone. You can also request deletion by emailing support@pdfsafe.iofrom the email address on the account if you’d rather we do it for you. Payment/subscription transaction records are the one exception: as described in our Privacy Policy, we retain those separately for accounting and tax purposes even after an account is deleted.

We also reserve the right to block or restrict access from any user or account that violates the acceptable use terms above, without advance notice, particularly where it threatens the availability of the service for others.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, particularly as new features (accounts, Premium) launch. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
